Older Charming property. Location, location! You can walk to restaurants, bars, music all very close. Our room was on the 2nd floor, which was where there was a large seating/lobby type area. Decorated with period type of antiques and comfortable chairs. Coffee/tea available all day. There was a little alcove/hall before entering our door, which was a nice buffer to noise. Gilded Unicorn connected to the property which was a very cool basement bar/restaurant

Beautiful property you'll fall in love withthe lobby itself. The hotel interior makes it a photo opp. Right at the downtown, worth walking around, since it was my first visit in Spokane for 1N this was perfect from connectivity point of view. Great staff, helpful & chirpy. Importantly, they don't have inhouse breakfast but on the first floor they have provision for hot chocolate, coffee, tea and fruits incase you crave. I had requested for late check-out no one came to disturb me & I was glad.Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. All in all, I'd come back & stay here.

Parking on site, excellent restaurant/bar on site and good coffee/tea station on first floor. Large room with large shower. Our toilet did not work so we were moved to a larger room. Very easy drive to Spokane Airport, 10 minutes.

I love this historic charming hotel! I loved the sitting lounge and ambiance. I enjoyed the 24 hour coffee and tea station. My room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were wonderful! Location was great. I didn't even rent a car, I just walked everywhere and I especially enjoyed the river walk. I took a bus to and from the airport for $2 each way. All in all I really liked Spokane and will definitely stay at the Montvale during my next visit.

The facilities were very beautiful and gave the whole experience a general pleasant and safe feeling. We found the extra wall bed to be extremely enjoyable and comfortable and the location of the hotel was very good as well.

This is a beautifully remodeled old hotel/building. The rooms and bathroom are on the large side, bed is comfortable. The decorations and second floor atrium are really nice. There is a great restaurant in the basement of the building and adequate fitness equipment in a room attached to the hotel through a hallway and elevator. The central location and access to downtown entertainment and dining is hard to beat.

Beautiful boutique hotel in downtown! Secured parking for $20 a day. Friendly staff, elevator available if you don’t do stairs. 24 hr coffee available. One thing that disappointed me was the restaurant. They advertised room service but when so called not available, they said I could call in order, I tried for an hour to do do but I think their phone was off the hook, so I was disappointed. But overall lovely stay in a cozy hotel!

This is a very relaxing, well maintained historic boutique hotel in the heart of Spokane. Easy, safe walking throughout downtown, though a bit sketchy after dark due to presence of homeless people. The hotel is extremely clean and quiet. The recent addition of access to an onsite workout facility increases the attraction. Limited onsite parking is another plus. Excellent restaurants are as close as next door, and many others are within a couple of blocks.

It was really quiet. The old furniture throughout was interesting. Location was awesome - across the street and around the corner from the Knitting Factory concert venue. The Fitness Room is great - several machines, lots of dumbbells, some barbells, and a ton of room. The bed was nice and soft.

Location, price, accommodations! Enjoyed the look and ambience of the coffee station on the second floor in this amazingly restored building and all the furniture to sit comfortably for a conversation, or read a book. On-site parking cost $10, and was very convenient.
